A USACheer membership is required to be an athlete on the team. There is a line to provide your membership number. If you need to renew or begin a membership, go to https://usacheer.org/membership . Ages 12-17 complete the General Athlete membership (The Junior Coach/Athlete ) and ages 18 and older need a Professional Membership. The Professional membership adds a background screening.
Handbook and Waiver
A signed agreement page of the handbook and waiver will be available here for you to submit prior to any active or non active participation at the start of the first practice.
Requirements
You will be contacted after submitting your “Interest Form”. You must submit your skills videos and an interview video. You are asked to perform as much as your physically able to and/or adapt to the appropriate skill. Video samples are available on our YouTube page, www.ParaCheerSpirit.org
Cheer: a demonstration of the USACheer including any skill incorporation. If you need demonstration of arm motions, please scroll down to the MOTION section.
Jumps: a Toe Touch jump, another jump not a toe touch.
Standing and Running Tumbling: highest level of forward, backward or airborne skills.
Stunts: any partner stunting involving two or more athletes.
Interview: a 0:30 max video of what strengths you will bring to the team, what experience makes you a great candidate, and what impact you think ParaCheer will have in your future.
